The new Tonkotsu ramen specialty store "Ichiran" will open on December 10th. The Asakusa store is the first store in the Kanto region to have an "Ichiran stand" where you can enjoy alcohol and snacks. It is also said that the menu for the first landing in Kanto will be offered.

◆ Nostalgic store interior

When you go down the stairs leading to the store in the basement and enter the store, the first thing you will notice is a nostalgic space. Round chairs and wooden tables, paper stuck on the wall, lanterns hanging in places ... It is said that it is made to express the atmosphere of Fukuoka's famous "stalls".


Apparently, there are only table seats (38 seats), but when I turned to the back, there was an entrance to the "taste concentration counter" area unique to Ichiran. It has 10 seats and can be used when you want to "concentrate" and sip ramen just like in a regular store.


◆ “Grilled pork dish bowl” that you definitely want to try

By the way, this time the main is "Ichiran stand", so let's check the menu unique to the stand. Basically, enter and buy a meal ticket at the ticket vending machine on your right.


The main menu is "Natural Tonkotsu Ramen" (790 yen). Replacement balls and toppings are as usual. In addition, it features the "Kamadare Tonkotsu-yaki Pork Plate" (490 yen), which is the first to be offered in the Kanto region, and a lineup of several types of alcohol menus.


The grilled pork plate is a char siu on the Tenjin Nishi-dori store limited "Kamadare Tonkotsu Ramen" and is eaten with special red pepper. The sweet sauce soaked in the greasy pork rose and the flavor of the glue that complements it are delicious.

After all, I would like to order beer together. Draft beer is usually served at stores, but bottled beer is available at Ichiran stalls. Pour into a glass and grab a glass. I'm happy from daytime on weekdays (the preview was around noon).

However, after this, further blissful development awaited. When I was recommended by the staff and tried to eat the roast pork on rice, it was horribly delicious. The juicy fat tightly connects the meat and rice, and the sweet sauce wraps them around. Everything is so exquisitely balanced that you might think it was made for this purpose! Also, personally, each roast pork is not too big, so I'm happy that it's easy to eat bit by bit.


◆ Ramen is not enough! When

This is not a izakaya with abundant snacks, but a "stall". While pinching the roast pork plate a little bit, tighten it with tonkotsu ramen ... Will it be used in such a style? It's nice to be able to use it while having a conversation in a group because it's a table seat.

A clerk will stand near the entrance and guide you to your seats, so follow the instructions. If it is vacant, even one person can use the table seat.
