What I want to visit in such a romantic mood is "Space Cafe," which opened in Harajuku and Omotesando in September 2013. Here, you can also eat a romantic menu called "Rainbow Pancake " (reservation required / 2,000 yen)! I also went to the store at once.


Space Cafe is located on the back road of Omotesando Hills. The exterior of the refurbished wagon is like a space shuttle! Further inside the store ... Wow! It's like a space shuttle to the middle!


I ordered the reserved rainbow-colored pancakes and the cafe latte (480 yen) from the drink menu. A few minutes later, the latte was first delivered.


Cafe latte is brewed using beans ordered from Nagoya's coffee specialty store "Apollo Coffee". It has a mild taste with little acidity. Foam milk is decorated with "★" with cocoa powder.

And finally, a rainbow-colored pancake that is 15 cm high is here! It looks like a decoration cake! ...that? But this is pure white. Where is the rainbow color ...?


Gently put a knife in the pancake so as not to knock it down ... Wow !! A colorful layer just like a rainbow appeared !! From the bottom, blue, green, yellow, pink, red bread A total of 5 cakes are stacked!



In addition, between green and yellow, and between blue and green, the cut pineapple and berry pulp are generously sandwiched with cream. All in all, "7 colors"!


It's the first time for a pancake to get so much tension just by inserting a knife! It's a waste, but I'm curious about the taste, so I eat it.

Pancakes with a chewy texture are delicious to eat with peace of mind. It is a simple seasoning like a hot cake made at home. The dough isn't too sweet, so it goes perfectly with fluffy cream and fruits!

By the way, the reason why pineapples and berries are used is that they contain "ethyl formate", one of the organic compounds in the galaxy ! I'm enjoying the "universe" right now ... Romantic !!
