On the 28th, Morinaga & Co. "Caramel Festival 2014" opening ceremony was held and the collaboration menu was announced by inviting Aya Ueto, who is the "Caramel Sommelier".


The collaboration menu is sold by eight companies with different genres, such as conveyor belt sushi restaurants, udon restaurants, and family restaurants. Mr. Uedo said, "I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of menus will appear at family restaurants," and tasted two of the 11 menus.

First of all, Gust's "Caramel Apple Pie". It is a dish that is served with plenty of whipped cream on a crispy hot apple pie that is baked in the oven after receiving an order and sprinkled with Morinaga Milk Caramel sauce. Next is the innovative eggplant "Banana Caramel" from the conveyor belt sushi chain Kura Sushi.
