Raines International, operator of the popular yakiniku chain restaurant "Gyukaku" and other chain restaurants, has discovered a new hamburger steak restaurant called "Ishiyaki Hamburger Groun'B" along the road on the way to work (Gotanda, Tokyo). It seems to be a newly opened restaurant this April.

Gyukaku offers delicious meat at reasonable prices, and I have been a regular customer of Gyukaku since I was a student there. As a restaurant affiliated with Gyukaku, there was no reason not to give it a try. I decided to try it for lunch right away.

Upon entering the restaurant, the spacious hall was packed with customers. Even though it was a late lunch, the restaurant was almost fully booked, including the counter seats.

Might be a bit of a line during peak hours?

From a lunch menu lined with meaty characters, I decided to order the "GB Plain 180 grams" (980 yen) with rice (can also be served with bread). 180 grams is plenty for a woman, but don't worry, there is also a "250 grams" for the dizzyingly hungry or the ultra-meat-eating man.

Also, from a choice of garlic or onion sauce, we selected "onion sauce". It seems that onion sauce is popular at the restaurant. Since many of the customers seem to be businessmen, it might be a good idea to have a refreshing onion sauce instead of garlic for lunch so that it will not affect business meetings in the afternoon.

After less than five minutes of waiting, the freshly cooked and hot hamburger steak arrived. The turnover rate is as expected. The food was cooked very quickly... Mmmm, it smells so good and full of flavor.

Let's have it. The meat is calling.

When I put my knife into the 100% beef hamburger, the inside is a stunning medium rare. The sauce and juices glistened in the light. The beautiful sight reminded me of the million-dollar night view I saw in Hong Kong once upon a time.

Before it gets cold... As soon as you put the fish in your mouth, the aroma of the stone-roasted meat wafts through your nose. The outer part of the meat, which has been thoroughly cooked, is tight and firm, and when you bite into it, it has a firm elasticity that pushes back against your teeth.

On the other hand, the rare center of the meat is soft and melt-in-your-mouth, and loosens up as you bite into it. In the mouth, juices full of beef flavor overflow, and a moderate fat content and sweetness can also be felt.

Incidentally, the plate is equipped with a "grilling stone," so if the meat is undercooked, you can press it against the stone to adjust the doneness to your liking. If you feel that you want to cook the meat a little more, you can use this function.

Here's the sizzle.

When you have finished the meat, try the corn and other vegetables with the remaining juices and sauce. This is also a superb dish. Don't think that you are poor, or that you are a fool. All you have to do is savor the miraculous gravy until the very end, that's all.

The hamburgers are delicious, of course, and the wait staff's deftness and service were very pleasant and the speed at which the food was served was perfect, even though the restaurant was crowded. This means that even those who are too busy to spend much time at lunch can quickly go in, enjoy the delicious meat, and quickly get out. I have a feeling that this restaurant will become increasingly popular.

Next time I'll go there at night.
