The in-flight meal "AIR Kumamon" jointly developed with Kumamoto Prefecture will be offered from June 1st on Japan Airlines (JAL) international flights (excluding some). The 13th installment of the popular in-flight meal "AIR series". This is the second collaboration between the two, following June-August last year.

This AIR Kumamon will be provided by Kumamoto Prefecture's popular character "Kumamon" in an original package design wearing a pilot's uniform.

Food is, the last time the same, Kumamoto long-established Chinese restaurant Hayama chef of "Korantei (Korantei)" supervised. Kumamoto Prefecture's representative noodle dish "Taipien" is the main dish, and "Custard cake" from Kumamoto Prefecture's confectionery maker "Kumamoto Kabo" is added.

Taipien is designed so that you can enjoy "freshly made" by putting in the fried egg that comes with it. You can enjoy JAL's original taste by adding grilled rice balls provided in a separate plate to the remaining soup.

Target routes are Narita to New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Paris, Frankfurt, Helsinki, and Haneda to London and Paris. It is offered as a second meal in Premium Economy and Economy Class. The offer period is until August 31st.
