Mango Chacha , a popular mango sweets shop in Taiwan, has finally landed in Harajuku, Tokyo! On the first day of opening on April 12, there was a long line outside the store.

The other day, I ate a pineapple cake from Sunny Hills and learned about the deliciousness of Taiwanese sweets. I went to Mango Chacha on weekday mornings!


Mango Chacha is located from JR Harajuku Station, passing through Takeshita Dori, crossing Meiji Dori, and walking straight for about 3 minutes. Turn right at the corner where FamilyMart is, and you will see the signboard immediately!


Since it's a weekday morning, only the author and another person were lined up before the store opened. However, customers came to the store one after another within 30 minutes of opening, so if you want to enter without lining up, you may want to stand by by 10:30 when the store opens.

When you enter the store, the staff will welcome you with a smile with a shout of "Mango Chacha!" First, order at the counter, make the payment, and then go to your seat.


This time, the author came to the store by himself, so I ordered "Moteki" (920 yen) from the shaved ice "Hatsukoi", "Moteki single", and "Close relationship single" that can be eaten by one person.

There are other lineups such as "Orange Love" and "Ex-boyfriend", so please choose the one that says "This is for me today!" Depending on the condition of the mind of the day. Don't think, Feel ☆

By the way, I ordered Moteki with the meaning of wishing in the middle, but when I was waiting, the welcome drink of mango juice was delivered first. It's thick and very delicious! This is a sweet rather than a juice!


Then came the long-awaited Moteki! Shaved ice, mango and ice cream are served separately on the plate.


The pure white ice is surprisingly fluffy and looks like cotton candy! It is slightly sweet with milk and has a mellow texture that you can't think of as ice. It's like eating clouds ... (although I've never eaten). It's fluffy, light and soft, so I don't think it's easy for you to become keen.


And don't forget the mango next to the ice! It is rich in umami, juicy, and has the taste of fruits that have been exposed to the sun. Moteki makes me feel so sweet ...

In addition, mango ice cream is a fine sherbet style. It melts on the tongue and the rich sweetness of mango remains as a lingering finish, but the aftertaste is refreshing.

The author, who was impressed by the deliciousness of Moteki, must be sure that other mango sweets are also exquisite! I ordered an additional macaron. However, unfortunately, there is no "Fay (light)" flavor available on this day, so I decided to have only "Mellow (rich)". It is 270 yen per piece.


Cool mango jam and mango pulp are contained in a crispy and light textured dough.


To be honest, this is insanely delicious! !! The dough is moist, but not so viscous that it sticks to your teeth, and the balance between crispy and chewy is just right! Furthermore, the natural sweetness of mango that melts from the inside spreads in your mouth like a breeze ... here ... a tropical country ...?

The taste of mango is rich, but the sweetness is not persistent, so you can eat it non-stop. In addition to shaved ice, mango macaroons are a must-try item for everyone.
