Amazon Japan has started a direct sales service for alcoholic beverages on the online shopping site "Amazon.co.jp". Along with this, the liquor sales corner "Sake Store" has been renewed to include a total of more than 150,000 types of "Japan's largest" (the company), including wine, sake, shochu, spirits, and beer. With the start of direct sales, alcoholic beverages will also be eligible for the paid membership service "Amazon Prime," which allows you to use "express delivery" and "designate delivery date" at no additional charge.


Amazon.co.jp has been selling liquor at each store, but this time Amazon Japan has started handling liquor by direct sales. When selling directly, he said he focused on sake, local sake from shochu, and single malt whiskey. For example, local sake is prepared from 47 prefectures with more than 1,000 types of sake and more than 1,400 types of shochu, and single malt whiskey sells more than 300 types including products from all distilleries in Japan. There are more than 5,000 types of products sold directly.
