McDonald's Japan announced the price system after the consumption tax hike on April 1. In addition to price cuts for major products such as "hamburgers," the "100 yen Mac" will continue to be 100 yen including tax. The new price will be applied from 5 o'clock on April 1st.

Two products, "hamburger" and "cheeseburger", will be reduced in price this time.

The hamburger will be 100 yen from the current 120 yen, and will be added to the "100 yen Mac" lineup. On the other hand, the price of cheeseburger will be reduced from 150 yen to 133 yen. Both are tax-included prices.

In addition, all products currently sold at the "100 Yen Mac" will remain unchanged at 100 Yen (tax included), and the Morning Mac "200 Yen Combination" will continue without changing the price.

In addition, other menus will be offered in units of 1 yen with the addition of 3% of the tax increase, without changing the price excluding tax. The display at the store will be the total amount including tax.
