The "National Local Sweets General Election" is a campaign that was held for two months from November 21, 2013 to determine the No. 1 local sweets in Japan. From 10 areas nationwide (Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kita-Kantou, Minami-Kantou, Tokyo, Chubu, Kinki, Chugoku / Shikoku, Kyushu, Okinawa), a total of 60 items that are particular about deliciousness, appearance, and materials are selected and voted by customers. The No. 1 (10 items) in each area and the Grand Prix (1 item) nationwide were decided.

The No. 1 in the Tokyo area is "Tokusen Gateau Chocolat" from Ken's Cafe Tokyo, the No. 1 in the North Kanto area is " Raw chocolate cake & Tokuno cheese set " from Marie Paul (Gunma), and the No. 1 in the Minami Kanto area. .1 is said to have become "Jonathan apple pie" from Yatsugatake pie studio (Yamanashi).
