I was so worried about it that I decided to actually go to "Sekirberg Cafe" to check it out. We also talked to Mr. Seki, an urban legend!
■ "Sekirberg Cafe" is in front of Kumano Shrine
Exit the front exit of Jiyugaoka Station and walk along the railroad tracks for 5 minutes. "Sekirberg Cafe" is right in front of Kumano Shrine.
"Sekirberg Cafe" has a stylish appearance based on white. At the entrance, there is a signboard with the aura fully open!
There is one terrace seat outside the shop. When the weather is nice, it's nice to sit here and enjoy a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea while watching the flowing people!
■ The store is packed with urban legend goods
When I entered the store ... Oh! Urban legend goods that you have never seen are lined up on shelves called shelves!
From the owl, which is said to be the symbol of the secret society "Illuminati" that often appears in Mr. Seki's urban legend, to the symbol mark of "Freemason", which is shaped like a ruler and a compass. This is irresistible for urban legend lovers!
There are also rare miscellaneous goods such as antique toys and old-fashioned board games that you won't find anywhere else. Suspended from the ceiling is a glittering chandelier that looks like a girl. All the interiors seem to be selected by Mr. Seki!
■ Try to order
The shop's signature menus are "owl curry" and "magical muffins". What a "magical muffin" looks like when you wear 3D glasses! If true, it's too magical! So, I ordered it right away.
■ Try to eat
First of all, "owl curry" was brought in.
"Owl curry" is a dry curry shaped like an owl, which is the symbol of the "Illuminati". The eyes are reproduced with boiled eggs. Brown rice is used for the rice, and its simple taste enhances the spicy flavor of the curry. The "Sekirberg Cafe" style of eating is to eat half and then sprinkle Tabasco on the other half. Well, Tabasco! ?? I was skeptical and tried it too ... it was amazingly compatible! Tabasco goes well with curry!
Then, the "pop-out 3D muffin" that I was interested in was brought in. It looks like a normal muffin, but ...?
When I was wondering where 3D was, the clerk advised me to cut it in half. As I was told, when I cut the muffin in half with a knife ...
A colorful cross section appeared from inside! Pink, blue, green, yellow ... and it's a colorful marble! This is my first time! !!
If you look at the cross section of the muffin with the 3D glasses on the counter, it surely pops out! Please check the shocking sight at the store!
"Magical Muffin" is an original menu that was finally completed after many trials and errors by Mr. Seki and the clerk. Even now, they are carefully baked one by one at the store. It looks like an overseas sweet, but it has a surprisingly gentle handmade taste! It was slightly sweet, fluffy and moist, and very delicious. The sweet and sour raspberry sauce works and the aftertaste is refreshing.
■ Discerning coffee
I also ordered "Atom", a popular coffee at "Sekirberg Cafe". This "Atom" is extracted using the same coffee beans as the traditional blended coffee that has been in Ginza for 60 years.
Coffee is very fresh because it is carefully brewed one by one after the order is placed. I didn't feel any bitterness when I drank it in black. Rich and rich flavor and moderate acidity spread in the mouth.
■ Gallery on the 2nd floor
The second floor of the shop is a gallery. Up until now, cutting-edge artists have exhibited and sold their works.
From December 13th to 24th, an artist named QP's solo exhibition "QP: Individual 813/9 Exhibition" will be held at this gallery. If you are interested, please come visit us!
■ Actually a power spot! ??
There is a secret in "Sekirberg Cafe". The approach to Kumano Shrine in front of the shop continues through the window to the inside of the shop! Mr. Seki told me.
If you sit near the approach leading to the store, you will have wonderful encounters and encounters! ?? Mr. Seki also seems to have witnessed the moment when the customer who sat in that seat met. Of course, I also took a piggyback ride and sat down!
■ The concept of the shop is "encounter with people"
"Sekirberg Cafe" is full of urban legend goods, but the concept of the store is not limited to "Urban Legend".
The owner, Mr. Seki, talks about the store as follows.
"Now, we are in an era where we can easily communicate using the Internet. But what is important is meeting people and direct dialogue. We want this cafe to be a place that provides such exchanges."
Because it is a cafe created with that in mind, "Sekirberg Cafe" is a cozy and cozy space for everyone. When you come here, you naturally want to talk to the person next to you.
■ Mr. Urban Legend You may meet Mr. Seki! ??
Mr. Urban Legend Seki, who is also the owner and owner, sometimes visits the shop to brew coffee and talk with customers. If the timing is right, you may be able to hear the truth of that urban legend directly from Mr. Seki! ??
"Sekirberg Cafe" where many mysterious treasure goods and mysterious power (and Furby) sleep. Maybe you'll find a nice encounter here. It's up to you to believe or not!
