The eating editorial department was waiting for this day. There is no choice but to eat the collaboration product with the long-established meat bun "Imuraya", which will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year! So, I went to Circle K Sunkus to buy "the first meat bun 50 years ago".
I also bought a regular "meat bun" to compare which one was 50 years ago.
■ The meat bun 50 years ago is a little small
Comparing the appearance, the size of the meat bun 50 years ago is slightly smaller, and the number of folds is also smaller. But the heights are almost the same.
When you cut it in half, you can see the mellow scent of pork ...!
Both of them are packed with "An", but I feel that the meat buns 50 years ago are packed with "An" without any gaps.
■ I tried it
I ate and compared two meat buns.
The skin is softer with ordinary meat buns. The skin of the meat bun 50 years ago is more moist and has a chewy texture.
"An" contains ingredients that seem to be onions and bamboo shoots in ordinary meat buns, while meat buns 50 years ago do not contain chewy ingredients. It is a very smooth and juicy "An". Ordinary meat buns have a strong flavor of shiitake mushrooms and ginger, but meat buns 50 years ago have a simple pork taste.
■ The meat bun 50 years ago is simple and delicious
In summary, the meat buns 50 years ago are a little smaller than the meat buns these days, but they are full of juicy "an" and have a lot of volume. You can feel the taste of meat more because you use simple ingredients. Meat buns have been so delicious since they were first released 50 years ago! That's why people have loved it for half a century!
Anyway, what I want to mention specially is "An", which is tightly packed and has a smooth texture . Please do try that out.
By the way, the price is not the same as it was 50 years ago.
