For women reading this, it's too early to close the page because it has nothing to do with robots or Kabukicho! I want women as well as men to know the charm of this restaurant.

"Robot Restaurant" is more than just a restaurant to eat. Nor does the robot serve. This is a restaurant where you can see the "unique robot show" . It's a place where you can enjoy innovative entertainment between robots and people!

■ After making a phone reservation, go to "Robot Restaurant" in Kabukicho, Shinjuku

Advance reservations are required for "Robot Restaurant". First, make a ticket reservation by phone and then head to the store.

"Robot Restaurant" is located in Kabukicho, a 5-minute walk from the east exit of Shinjuku.

Don't be scared by the glaring neon lights. As long as you can stay here, you will be able to enter the store, sit down, and watch the theater smoothly.

Select the meal menu at the ticket center in the store and pay for the reserved ticket (show viewing, meal included 5,000 yen). Here, if you don't need your luggage, go to the free locker. Since the aisle between the seats is a little narrow, it may be better to leave large luggage or bulky jackets in a locker. Let's enjoy it in a light state!

After purchasing your ticket and depositing your luggage, you will move to another building with the venue (just across the road).


At the entrance of the building, dinosaur robots and mannequins that are too real will welcome you! The dinosaurs bark and move, making you feel like you're at a theme park.


■ Gorgeous interior

The moment you step inside the store ... well, it's dazzling! It's as if you've entered the world of mirrors. Everywhere is glittering!


Red, pink, blue, yellow ... There are also stairs surrounded by vivid colored walls and ceilings. It's too colorful to catch up with my eyes! By the way, this staircase, Mika Ninagawa, has also used it for shooting.


■ That big celebrity also visits the store

Big celebrities from overseas, such as popular American singer-songwriter Katy Perry and director Tim Burton, who is known for many fantasy works, also visited "Robot Restaurant"! In addition, as a domestic celebrity, director Takashi Miike is also visiting the store, and a picture of director Miike was also displayed in the store. I'm afraid, "Robot Restaurant" ... Expectations are rising more and more!

■ Wait in the lounge on the 3rd floor until the show starts

On the 3rd floor, there is a waiting lounge where you can spend time before the show while enjoying alcohol and light meals. It's okay to arrive at the venue early because of the excitement. All you have to do is sit on the fluffy sofa, gracefully enjoy a cocktail, and dream of time to share with the robot.


When I looked around, more than half of the customers were foreigners. Apparently it looks like tourists. Everyone seems to be waiting for the start of the show while drinking alcohol happily.

That should be the case, in fact, "Robot Restaurant" has been featured in overseas news media CNN , and it is raising the name of Jiwajiwa and its name. In addition, big celebrities are coming to the store one after another, so it may be becoming one of the new tourist spots in Japan ...?

■ Now to the venue

As the show starts soon, the staff will talk to you, so take the elevator to the venue on the second basement floor. You will be seated after receiving your meal at the entrance of the venue.


Is there a lot of male customers? I thought, but it seems that many women and couples come to the store. The day I went was about 40% female.

The venue is set in the central hall, and seats are lined up in steps on both sides. All seats are paired seats, and the table is integrated for convenient dining.

■ There are two types of meal menus, "meat" and "fish"

You can choose from two types of meal menu, "meat" and "fish", which have been recently renewed. It's in a lunch box and the volume is just right!



Once the show starts, it can be overwhelming and you can't concentrate on your meal, so it might be a good idea to enjoy your meal before it starts.

Until the show starts, there will be a beer server on the floor where you can buy beer and canned chu-hi.


■ The show is about to begin-the theme is "Women's War"

The show will finally begin with the sound of Japanese drums! The theme is "Women's War", and all the dancers who appear are women.

The show is a four-part story with a 5-10 minute break between each intermission.

The first part is a content that expresses "wa" in which dancers hit Japanese drums and carry portable shrines. The sight of beautiful older sisters riding a Japanese drum robot and beating the drums is a masterpiece!


In the second part, a march band and a pole dancer who play musical instruments on a robot will appear. Even though she was the same woman, I was fascinated by the dancer's abdominal muscles.


In the third part, "forest invaders" who have covered the eerie side will appear and perform an eerie dance. And what appeared to defeat the invaders ... eh, pandas ...! ?? It's a panda, not a robot! Too novel! It seems that he rushed with his friends to protect the forest!


And female warriors riding dinosaurs also appeared brilliantly! Finally defeat the invaders. The dancers dance in front of the audience seats, giving you a sense of realism!


Part 4 is finally the climax with everyone participating! Everybody in the audience will be given something like a lightsaber.


The final curtain has begun! Giant robots will appear and dance crazy with the dancers to the music of Norinori. A huge "beautiful robot" and a cute "dog robot" are also available. It's also a great attraction for robot lovers!


The voltage at the venue is at its peak! I also noticed that I was swinging a lightsaber with a slapstick. It's fun, it's fun! !!

For those who want to buy souvenirs to commemorate today, "Robot Restaurant" sells limited-edition goods "original T-shirts" and "original cookies" that can only be bought at the store. This time I bought an "original cookie".


Inside was a cookie with 8 patterns. The robots that appeared in the show are also reproduced with pop illustrations.
