At the donut workshop "Shiretoko Factory" in Nakashibetsu-cho, Hokkaido, "Shiretoko Donuts", which are "baked" donuts that are not fried in oil, are made. In addition, "Panda Donuts" with cute "Copandas" appearing through the holes in the donuts are on sale only at Ueno stores!

The editorial department, who has no eyes for cute and delicious food, decided to buy "panda donuts" at Shiretoko Factory in Ueno!

From about 10 flavors such as Hokkaido milk, cocoa chocolate, and ram raisins, this time I chose "Hokkaido pumpkin," "salt caramel," and seasonal "sweet potato."

■ "Panda donuts" with height and thickness

"Panda donuts" are baked donuts made with Hokkaido milk and Shiretoko honey. It is made by "baking" without frying. It is fluffy and has height and thickness. And it is the lovely "Copanda" that pops out of the hole. It's cute ...! !!


Each one has a slightly different expression of "Copanda". It's full of handmade feeling!

■ I tried "Hokkaido Pumpkin"


"Hokkaido Pumpkin" has pumpkin kneaded into the dough and has a deep orange color. When you eat a bite, you can feel the sweetness of pumpkin on the fluffy, sponge cake-like dough. Pumpkin seeds accent the texture.

■ I tried "salt caramel"


"Salt caramel" that is not too sweet and has a slight saltiness in the mouth. It certainly tastes like salted caramel. It's moist and fluffy, and although it's big, it's easy to eat.

■ I tried the limited "sweet potato"


"Sweet potato" is a seasonal flavor with diced sweet potatoes and sesame seeds. The dough has a sweet potato-like aroma. The butter flavor goes well with the sweet potatoes.
