A Christmas cake "Face Cake" in the shape of the face of Kumamoto Prefecture's popular character "Kumamon" is now available from Daiichiya Bread. Reservations will be accepted from October 1st, limited to 9,000 pieces.
This cake is a dome-shaped cake coated with chocolate grasage that looks like Kumamon's face. The attached chocolate confectionery is used to decorate and finish the face parts.

The ingredients are also made in Kumamoto prefecture, and the chocolate cream uses chestnut dice from Kumamoto prefecture and milk from Aso. In addition, tourist information on Kumamoto Prefecture is posted on the package.
The price is 2,980 yen. It is sold at food supermarkets in Kanto, Chubu, and Kansai. Reservations are accepted from October 1st to December 15th. Goods will be delivered from December 20th to December 25th. Depending on the store, the reservation acceptance period and sales period may change.
