It's finally getting a little cooler. For those who enjoy walking, it is the season to walk around the city without worrying about heat stroke. And after a walk, tea, right? For those who like black tea, it is the season to enjoy not only iced tea but also fragrant hot tea.

In such a tea season, FAUCHON announced a new flavored tea. There are two types of chocolate eclair tea "Eclair au Chocolat" (80g (2.82oz) / 2,625 yen) and the garden of Paris "Jardin a Paris" (70g (2.47oz) / 2,625 yen). It is sold in limited quantities at Takashimaya and Fauchon boutiques nationwide.

This time, I got the garden "Jardin a Paris" in Paris. I tried the taste. Well, is it a taste that goes well with a drink after a walk?

According to Fauchon, Jardin a Paris is a flavored tea that expresses "the feeling of walking in a Parisian garden surrounded by many flowers." Based on green tea, dried rose flowers and dried pineapple are added, and the scents of peach, apricot, and honey are blended.

If you open the package, you can see that the dried flowers are in luxury. This can be expected.

Make tea and pour it into a cup to spread the aroma of fruit. Surprisingly, the scent of roses is not so strong. The scent of fruit is better than that. It looks like green tea. The taste is also green tea. However, when you put it in your mouth, in addition to the scent of green tea, the scent of peach and apricot spreads.

Many of Fauchon's flavored teas have a strong habit. I really like people who like it. However, it is also true that some people say that the scent is a little ... Meanwhile, Jardin a Paris has relatively few habits as a flavor tea of Fauchon. I think it is a product that everyone can recommend.

By the way, I also got another kind of flavored tea called "Tuilley Park Walk". This is not a new product, it was released in October last year. However, it was like an "autumn walk", so I chose it.

According to Fauchon, this is a flavored image of the Tuilerie Park near the Louvre Museum in Paris. Based on white tea, which is not often drunk in Japan, the rose buds express the scent of the rose garden in Tuilley Park. In addition, the scent of citrus fruits in the orchard and the scent of cotton candy in the summer traveling amusement park are also blended.

If you open the package, you can see that there are many dried flowers here as well. Also, something small heart-shaped. When I grab it, it tastes like gum. Does this give off the scent of cotton candy?

Make tea and pour it into a cup to spread the scent of roses. It has a fruity scent and a sweet scent of cotton candy (?), But the roses are overwhelming. The amount of rose buds is the same as that of the Parisian garden "Jardin a Paris", but the intensity of the scent is completely different.

The color of tea is slightly lighter than that of "Jardin a Paris". Is this white tea? The taste and aroma are slightly "fermented tea". It feels like the scent of roses is added to it. I have a stronger habit than "Jardin a Paris", so maybe I choose a drinker? But if you like it, I'm sure you like it very much.

Whether you like walking or not, Fauchon tea is a little more expensive. It may be good for the coming season.
