Good news for bird lovers and strange ice enthusiasts in the Kanto region! "Parrot-flavored ice cream," which has been talked about as having a "parrot taste" when eaten, will be on sale at Laforet Harajuku from August 2nd for two weeks. All three summer-only versions (with dry ice and a silver cold bag) are priced at 400 yen each. Start selling at 11:00 every day.


Parakeet-flavored ice cream is sold by "Torimi Cafe" (Kobe) where you can enjoy tea while watching the birds. There are three types of ice cream, "Buncho tailored finch ice cream", "Cockatiel ice cream", and "Budgerigar ice cream". This summer limited version is "slightly hard to melt & slightly increased to 120ml (4.06us fl oz)".

The sales place is a special booth in "ZOOLOOK POP UP SHOP" which will be opened for a limited time on the 1st floor of Laforet Harajuku. Limited to 100 pieces per day, each sale is limited to 3 pieces, "1 piece for each person". It's okay to buy more on another day, or re-arrange in line.

In addition to ice cream, "bird-covered goods" such as towels with parakeets will be on sale at the special booth. The period and quantity are limited, so if you are interested, please do so as soon as possible!
