At Hotel Okura Kobe's membership-based cooking salon "Salon Culinaire Okura", two hands-on courses that parents and children can participate in during the summer vacation will be held. After cooking in a cook coat, you will receive a "kids chef certificate" with a photo taken with the chef, and pastry classes and cooking classes are planned.

In the pastry class "Challenge the pastry chef! Making marzipan" on July 28, marzipan (a mixture of powdered almonds and sugar, which can be freely shaped like clay) is used to make animals and flowers. After the lecture, the chef will provide a children's plate and dessert.

On August 23, a cooking class "Experience the fun of cooking! Making sushi" was held, and we challenged to make beautifully colored sushi and meatballs with cheese with the chef. Even children who cook for the first time can experience the joy of cooking and eating the food they cook. After the lecture, you can sample it at the salon dining room, and you can take your food home with you.
