On May 6, three women, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight, who were kidnapped in Ohio about 10 years ago, were found in a private home in Ohio.

The hero of the United States in this case was Charles Ramsey, who helped rescue the woman. Ramsey heard someone screaming at a nearby house, stopped eating Big Mac and headed for rescue. In an interview with a television station, he said of the situation at that time:

"I heard a scream. At that time I was eating McDonald's. When I went out, the woman was desperate to get out of the house."

In the wake of this interview, Ramsey suddenly became a national hero and became known as the "Big Mac-munching man."

Many restaurants in Cleveland, Ohio offer Ramsey a lifetime free ticket to eat as many burgers as you want, when you want. As of May 23 (US time), there are as many as 14 cases.

Scott Kuhn, owner of Driftwood Restaurant Group, one of the restaurants offering free tickets, said in an interview with a local newspaper that he explained why he was offering tickets:

"Ramsey stopped eating halfway to help the women, so we thought we had to offer another opportunity to make sure Ramsey had a burger to the end."

In addition, restaurant chef Chris Hodgson, who works as a dishwasher for Ramsey, announced that he will be selling a special menu named Ramsey Burger for a limited time.

By the way, McDonald's, whose brand name was to be called repeatedly in this report, posted the following post on the company's official Twitter account "@McDonaldsCorp" after the incident.

"McDonald's respects the courage of the victims of the Ohio kidnapping and respects the privacy of the victims. Charles Ramsey, you're great. We'll get back to you soon."

However, the fact that McDonald's has since offered Ramsey a lifetime free ticket for Big Mac has not been confirmed at this time.
