The black tea calendar is a daily calendar made from black tea leaves. It was made from the desire to have a relaxing time by peeling off the tea leaf sheet of the day's date at the end of the day and drinking it as tea. By drinking a dated tea leaf sheet, you can feel that the day has come to an end.


The tea calendar is a completely handmade product made by craftsmen, with 365 days worth of black tea packaged. The tea leaf sheet portion that represents the date is made by crushing high-grade tea leaves into small pieces and compressing them with a roller. Even if it was used as a calendar at room temperature, it wouldn't collapse, but it was a difficult task to make a sheet so that it would melt immediately when put in hot water and become a delicious black tea.


The calendar explains how to enjoy it as follows.

2. Cut out the tea leaf sheet for the date of the day from the calendar
3. Put the tea leaf sheet in the cup
4. Wait for a while
5. Enjoy tea


The tea calendar was created by the German tea maker Hälssen & Lyon. Unfortunately, it is not available to the general public because it is a promotional item distributed to the company's important business partners.
