" Tried

and True "Frozen White Peach Tart" and "Frozen Pie Coronet" desserts were released on May 23 at FamilyMart to be eaten straight from the freezer! These frozen sweets are made with cream cheese mousse and mascarpone whip.

These products are perfect for this time of year when the days are getting sweaty and sunny, but aren't tarts and pie coronets hard when eaten frozen...?

I was curious, so I bought some! Both are colonized palm-sized desserts.

FamilyMart "Frozen White Peach Tart" and "Frozen Pie Coronet

I will tell you from the conclusion that I tried them, they were not that hard~! Only one part (mainly white peach) was hard. But it was still more like an "ice cream" dessert than a "mousse" or "whipped" dessert.

So I left it at room temperature for about 10 minutes to let it melt a bit before trying it... it tasted so good. In the "Frozen White Peach Tart," the peaches became soft and juicy, and the mousse became soft and fluffy. The pie coronet, which can be eaten frozen, is a perfect combination of crispy dough and fluffy whipped cream! Of course, it is delicious eaten frozen, but I personally highly recommend taking it out of the freezer and letting it sit for a little while before eating it in a semi-thawed state (thawing time can be adjusted).

Below is a detailed review!

The tart dough is soft and moist and melts with each bite. The white peaches have a frozen fruit-like texture, with a mixture of crispy ice and a smooth texture. The mousse is cool and melts smoothly on the tongue, like cream cheese ice cream. This girl is not a tart "cake" but a tart "ice cream".

When you take a bite, first the tart, then the ice cream (mousse) melts away, and finally the white peaches in syrup remain in your mouth. The white peaches in syrup are a nice surprise on a hot day.

The pie crust is not hard, but moist and a little crunchy when you bite into it. This texture is probably burnt sugar. It makes it more satisfying and very good.

The mellow mascarpone whip is more like ice cream than cream. It melts and spreads with the heat in your mouth, and you can definitely smell the orange peel, albeit slightly. It has a slightly mature taste, and it's insanely delicious...! I personally liked this one better.

Both are packaged in a paper tray, which has a cutout in the middle so that it can be folded or separated. If you want to eat them frozen, I think it is easier to eat them with one hand if you hold the whole tray.
