It is a sweet ice cream that expresses the taste of "melting shortcake," a type of shortcake that has become a hot topic on social networking sites in recent years, topped with a generous amount of cream that has been loosely whipped.

The sponge cake produced in-house is baked to be fluffy and full of fine air bubbles, giving it a taste and texture similar to shortcake batter. The addition of white bean paste makes the dough easy to spoon through and melt in the mouth. Thanks to the know-how cultivated as a confectionery manufacturer, ice cream is filled and frozen on a consistent line after the cake batter is baked, thus minimizing the drying and deterioration of the batter.

Both the milk sauce and milk ice cream layered on top of the cake batter are based on fresh Hokkaido cream to express the flavor of cream. The milk sauce has been carefully blended to create a sauce that melts even under refrigeration. Kirsch (a liquor made from cherries), which is often combined with shortcake, is added to give a refreshing aftertaste.
