The Ayataka Cafe series, created by Coca-Cola System's green tea brand "Ayataka" and focusing on ingredients and manufacturing methods, was newly introduced in April, and we tried "Ayataka Cafe Teapot Coffee Latte" and "Ayataka Cafe Teapot Coffee Black".

"Ayataka Cafe Teapot Coffee" is supervised by the long-established tea shop "Kambayashi Harumatsu Honten" in Uji, Kyoto, and the specialty coffee shop "Sarudahiko Coffee. The 280ml (9.47us fl oz) PET bottle is priced at 149 yen (excluding tax).

AYATAKA CAFE Kyusu Coffee Latte

: A latte blended with hojicha (roasted green tea) as a secret ingredient. Ingredients include milk (produced in Japan), sugar, coffee, skimmed milk powder, green tea (produced in Japan), vegetable oils and fats, processed skimmed concentrated milk products, dextrin, salt/emulsifier, antioxidant (vitamin C), casein sodium, and flavor.


The first sip gives the impression that it is not much different from a typical latte. The milk gently envelops the richness of the coffee. The aroma of hojicha (roasted green tea) is added in the middle of the latte. The addition of the fragrance adds depth to the flavor. It is also sweet, so it is perfect when you want to take a break with a sweet drink.

AYATAKA CAFE Kyusu Coffee Black

Black coffee blended with matcha green tea as a secret ingredient. Ingredients are coffee (coffee beans (Brazil, Vietnam)), green tea (domestic) / flavorings.


This one is refreshing and has no sweetness. The sharp coffee is blended with the delicious taste and bitterness of matcha, giving it a mature taste. The matcha is not so strong, but it leaves a deep aftertaste. Perfect for when you want to refresh yourself.


I rarely drink Japanese tea and coffee together, but they are a perfect match, bringing out the best of each. I found a new taste that was a little different from the usual.
