, winner of the 14th King of Pasta, is an Italian restaurant and cafe in Takaseki-cho, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, popular for its pasta, grilled dishes, pizza, and dolce. The name of the restaurant, "SORRISO" means "smile" in Italian, and it is our hope that our customers will smile through their meals.

King of Pasta is a contest-style event in which pasta stores in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, open stalls and visitors vote to determine the Takasaki Pasta King. The event has been held annually since 2009 with the aim of reaffirming, through pasta, the food culture nurtured by the wheat culture and rich agricultural produce in Takasaki and the surrounding area, and to further develop Takasaki's food culture.

Tomato cream pasta with shrimp and mushrooms

This is the first time "SORRISO" has collaborated with a convenience store. Based on the restaurant's popular "Tomato Cream Pasta with Angel Prawns and Mushrooms" menu item, the tomato cream sauce combines the moderate acidity of tomatoes with the rich flavor of prawns, and is tossed with fresh pasta with a sticky texture. The pasta is topped with a tender shrimp, peeled shrimp, maitake mushrooms, eringi mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and lemon zest.


The product will be available at Lawson stores in the Kanto Koshinetsu region (Gunma, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Niigata, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures) (approximately 4,800 stores as of the end of February 2023). Excluding NATURAL LAWSON and LAWSON STORE100.
