LAWSON will release "Chirorucoco March Lion Maccha Daifuku 1 piece" on Tuesday, March 21, which can be played as a shogi piece. It will be available exclusively at Lawson stores nationwide (excluding some stores and Natural Lawson and Lawson Store 100). The price is 38 yen (tax included).

"March Lion" is a manga about Shogi (Japanese chess) written by Chika Umino, serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha) since July 2007, which has also been made into an anime and a live-action film. In 2021, it won the Grand Prize in the Manga Division of the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival.

The "Chirorucho March Lion Matcha Daifuku (Green Tea Daifuku) 1 piece" is a Matcha Daifuku-flavored Chirorucho featuring a Shogi (Japanese chess) piece. It is a collaboration product with "March Lion," and the package depicts "Meow Shogi," which appears in the work.
