FamilyMart Spring Om

usubi Festival FamilyMart will hold a "Spring Omusubi Festival" from March 21 (Tuesday) to liven up the holiday season. A total of seven kinds of omusubi will be lined up (release dates and regions differ depending on the product).

The Spring

Omusubi

Festival Gohan (rice) is made from freshly milled rice that has been shortened from milling to commercialization to prevent deterioration of the flavor. The rice is made from domestically grown rice and cooked in a particular way to provide a better taste. * Product specifications differ for Hokkaido.

Dongitsune Musubi

is a collaboration product with Nissin Foods' popular Japanese-style cup noodle "Nissin no Donbei". The rice is flavored with Donbei's signature "W-dashi" soup stock, which is divided into East and West flavors, and topped with a juicy piece of fried bean curd. The taste of the fried bean curd is also divided between the East and West, giving it a flavor similar to that of Donbei.


Priced at 185 yen (tax included), it will go on sale on Tuesday, March 21.

U.F.O. Thick Thick Soba-Meshi

This is a collaboration product with Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O., Nissin Foods' popular cup yakisoba. To reproduce the "thick, thick, thick sauce" unique to "Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O.," original flavored oil is used to create a rich flavor.


Priced at 160 yen, it will go on sale on Tuesday, March 21.

Gochimusubi Salmon Soy Sauce Sake

This is a product of the popular "Gochimusubi" series, which has sold over 200 million servings in total. It is made with salmon roe using "Honzen" soy sauce, which has a rich flavor and aroma, rice blended with Japanese Koshihikari, and first-grade nori seaweed from the Seto Inland Sea, to give it a deep taste. Specifications differ for Hokkaido.

Gochimusubi Japanese Black Wagyu Beef Sukini

A popular meat omusubi from the "Gochimusubi" lineup. Japanese black beef stewed with sweet and spicy Warishita sauce is wrapped with Japanese Koshihikari rice and first grade nori seaweed from the Seto Inland Sea. Specifications differ for Hokkaido.


Price: 228 yen; on sale Tuesday, March 28.

SPAM Musubi 3 kinds of cheese

A cheese-based version of the popular "SPAM Musubi" series, SPAM is mixed with slices of cheddar cheese, gouda cheese and mozarella cheese, and topped with mayonnaise sauce.


Priced at 288 yen, it will go on sale Tuesday, March 28. Not available in Okinawa.

Filled to the brim with ingredients! Chicken Nanban

Popular series "Ingredients! Chicken Nanban is a hearty omusubi from the popular "Ingredients Dukkusan! Chicken Nanban" series. Deep-fried chicken dipped in sweetened vinegar and tartar sauce. The fried chicken is also wrapped inside the rice, making it a very satisfying snack.


Priced at 185 yen, it will go on sale on Tuesday, April 4.

Soy Sauce Fried

Rice This fried rice omusubi is savory fried rice stir-fried with a delicious soy sauce sauce sauce. The aroma of burnt soy sauce whets the appetite and makes it easy to enjoy the authentic taste of fried rice. Also recommended as an accompaniment to ramen noodles.


Priced at 140 yen, the product goes on sale on Tuesday, April 4. Not available in Hokkaido.
