Murasaki

"Murasaki no Gozen An-iru" (special made with yam) is a confectionery named after Murasaki no Kyoto, a scenic spot mentioned in "The Pillow Book" and famous for its many historic temples and shrines, such as Daitoku-ji Temple. The purple kinton (sweet made of a red bean paste) reminds one of the atmosphere of the ancient Murasaki area. Usually, the white bean paste is made from dyed shreds, but this time, the paste is made from yams. The unique flavor can be enjoyed.

The price is 638 yen (tax included). It will be on sale from March 4 to 17, 2023.
