In-store glass provision has been tested and verified at 106 stores in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, and other areas since April 2022. Based on feedback from customers and store partners (employees), the glass has been designed to be thinner, more eye-catching, and easier to hold and drink from.

The reusable in-store glasses are made of resin and come in two sizes. Each is available in short/tall and grande/venti, providing the same Starbucks experience as before.
