Udon Noodle with Asari Butter)

A new product, Asari Butter Udon (Udon Noodle with Asari Butter), will be available from Nakau, a rice bowl and Kyoto-style udon noodle restaurant. It will go on sale at 11:00 a.m. on February 9, and will be available until mid-March. Prices are 390 yen for the small size, 590 yen for the medium size, and 690 yen for the large size (all tax included). To go is also available.

Udon "Asari Butter Udon" is a smooth and silky udon noodle served in a rich broth full of seafood broth and topped with butter and scallion with a rich aroma of the sea. The udon soup is infused with the flavor of the scallion, and has a deep flavor created by combining Nakau's signature Kansai-style udon broth with a special garlic-flavored sauce. The butter on top melts, enhancing the richness of the soup and giving it a mellow flavor.
