7-ELEVEN will release "Usamaru Manmaruyaki," a series of Japanese sweets featuring Usamaru, and "Toonkaroon Usamaru," inspired by the Korean-style macaroon sweet "Toonkaroon.

Usamaru

Manmaru-Yaki

is a chilled sweet made of a glutinous, round dough with a cute, loose design branded on it. The dough is filled with custard-flavored cream.


One randomly selected sticker comes with a "winter" themed design. There are 8 types of stickers in total, including one with Usamaru wearing a rabbit hat to celebrate the "Year of the Rabbit" and another with Usamaru and Tosako enjoying making rice cakes.


Priced at 226 yen (tax included), the stickers will go on sale on January 6, 2023. Sales will end as soon as the product is gone due to limited quantities.

Tooncalon

: A Korean-style macaroon sweet called "Tooncalon" with Usamaru's face decorated on a large macaroon pastry measuring approximately 55mm in diameter. A generous amount of sweet and sour strawberry ganache is sandwiched between the macarons.


Marshmallow is hidden inside the strawberry ganache, so you can enjoy the three different textures of macaron dough, ganache, and marshmallow. The dessert is made with an emphasis on volume, making it a very satisfying dish.
