Sakiyo-ken will introduce "Yokohama Gekmochi Choco & Choco with Walnuts", "Oishisa Nagamochi Kinmedai Shiomai", "Obento Winter" as part of its "Winter Hot Gastronomy" series. ~The new products will be available at 160 stores mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo from December 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023.

Obento

Winter "Obento Winter" features "scallop rice" cooked with kombu, carrot, and yama-seki. You can enjoy the rich taste and flavor of scallops. The dish is topped with scallop shigureni and nishiki-shiitate tamago (egg) for a brightly colored finish. The side dishes include a small assortment of winter delicacies such as "teriyaki red fish" with fatty fish, "ganmodoki stewed with black soybeans" which is juicy and rich with cooking juices, and "koorikonnyaku, komatsuna, crab flavored kamaboko and deep-fried tofu salad" which uses komatsuna, which is in season. The package also includes two traditional shiomai, lotus root stew, carrot stew, bamboo shoot stew, egg omelet, and pickled radish with shiba-odaikon.

The snow-like appearance of the "Daifuku" (small white bean cake) adds a wintry touch. The price is 760 yen (tax included).

Kinmedai

Sioumai "Oishi-sama Nagamochi Kinmedai Sioumai" is a dish using "Kinmedai," a premium fish that is in season in winter. It is characterized by its rich flavor and fluffy texture, just like simmered sea bream. The spicy hot pepper paste attached to the dish gives it a different taste.

It is one of the "Oishisama Nagamochi" series, convenient as a souvenir, and can be easily enjoyed by heating it up in a microwave oven without removing the bag. The price is 770 yen for a set of six.

"Yokohama Mooncake Choco & Choco with Walnuts" is a mooncake with chocolate bean paste and walnuts added as an accent.

The mooncake has a rich flavor with a moderate sweetness. The chocolate bean paste with walnuts made from Hokkaido azuki beans is wrapped in a smooth cream made from Belgian chocolate.
