Hachiya

Ramen no Hachiya is a long-established ramen restaurant in Asahikawa, established in 1947. The name "Hachiya" was given by the founder, Mr. Edanao Kato, when he opened an ice cream store using honey, in the hope that "bees will always return to their hives," and that the local people will love the shop and gather there. The main dish is soy sauce ramen with seafood flavor and charred lard.
