Nogami "Sicilian Pistachio Jam

The pistachios produced in Bronte, a town at the foot of Mount Etna on the island of Sicily, also known as "the town of pistachios," are harvested only once every two years, making them highly prized, and their rich flavor is said to be of the highest quality in the world. Pistachios grown in the mineral-rich land at the foot of Mt. Etna are also called "green gems" for their shiny, bright green color.

Nogami's "raw" bread comes in two varieties: "Founding" Nogami, which has a "softness" that just barely breaks at the waist, a taboo for bread, and "Kuroyama" Nogami, which is characterized by its delicious "charred" flavor, baked until just before it burns. To go well with both types of "fresh" bread, "Sicilian Pistachio Jam" is prepared by adjusting the balance of sweetness and rich flavor of pistachios. The "Sicilian Pistachio Jam," which brings out the true flavor of the ingredients, is a perfect match for NoGami's "fresh" bread.

Priced at 1,080 yen per loaf (tax included), the bread will be available at all stores in Japan starting November 1.
