Fukagawa Iseya

Founded in 1907, Fukagawa Iseya is a confectionery shop in Fukagawa's downtown Fukagawa area that offers dango, daifuku, norimaki, inari, and other sweets for casual enjoyment. Currently, there are five stores centering on the main store and Hirano store.

Monzennakacho Fukagawa Iseya

We reviewed a total of five products: four types of skewered dango ("yaki dango," "an dango," "zunda dango," and "sesame dango") and daifuku (bean-shaped rice cake). The sticky, rice-flavored dango are as one would expect from a long-established Japanese confectionary store!

Kyo-no-Ozukemono-jyo Chikatame

Kyo-no-Ozukemono-jyo Chikatame is a long-established pickles store that originated in Kyoto. In addition to the Kyoto main store, the company operates a Kameoka factory direct sales shop (Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture), a Fukagawa store (Koto-ku, Tokyo), and an online store.

Fukagawa Hana

Fukagawa Hana is a Japanese confectionery near Monzennaka-cho and Fukagawa Fudoson. Its signature product is "Fukagawa's specialty, Kintsuba. This famous store is often featured in TV programs and magazines.

Monzennakacho Fukagawa Hana

The kintsuba has a unique chewy skin, yet is moist and soft. The sweet bean paste inside is fresh and very mildly sweet, and it slips easily into your mouth.
