Nagano Purple is an original black grape variety bred by the Nagano Prefectural Fruit Experiment Station in Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture, from a cross between Kyoho and Rizamat, and registered as a variety in 2004 (Heisei 16). It is characterized by its sweetness, with a sugar content of over 20 degrees, and a rich taste similar to that of Kyoho grapes. It has no seeds, so it can be eaten with its skin.

The "Nagano Grapes 'Nagano Purple'" cake is made with Nagano-Purple, a dark sweet grape with a sugar content of over 20 degrees, which can be eaten with the skin intact, along with a gently sweet honey milk mousse and cream cheese base. 1 piece is priced at 1,300 yen (tax included).
