At the Akasaka store and some directly managed stores, special order items are sold in-store on the 15th of each month. In September, Tororo "Tantei" will be available in limited quantities.

According to Toraya, cranes are said to live in "Mount Horai," a place of immortality, and are considered a good omen to decorate the stage for a happy occasion. The crane's flight in the sky is beautiful and befitting of a bird of good fortune, and the elegant appearance of the tancho crane is expressed in the confectionery. Tsukune sweet potatoes are used, and the fine texture and flavor of the manjuu made can be enjoyed.

Of the two colors of manju, the white skin is filled with gozen-an (sweet bean paste) and the red skin is filled with ogura-an (sweet bean paste). Each bun contains 50 grams and is sold at the Akasaka store, Tokyo Midtown store, Imperial Hotel store, Nihonbashi store, and TORAYA TOKYO store.
