Sakiyo-ken will introduce the "Autumn Harvest" series. Yokohama Gekimochi Yaki-imo, Mushroom Shiomai, and Obento Autumn will be available at approximately 160 stores mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo from September 1 to November 30.

Yokohama Tsukimochi Yaki-imo

Sakiyo-ken "Yokohama Gekimochi Yaki-imo", "Mushroom Shiomai", "Obento Autumn".

The "Yaki-imo" (baked sweet potato) is a sweet sweet potato with a chewy texture and a natural, gentle sweetness. The yaki-imo bean paste is slowly cooked until it has less moisture than most bean pastes, and cubes of sweet potato with skin are kneaded into the paste to give it a unique texture.

It is sold at room temperature and priced at 160 yen per piece (tax included, same below). Also available is the "Yokohama Mooncake 5-piece set" for 680 yen, which includes one each of the standard mooncakes of red beans, chestnuts, Uji green tea, and black sesame.

Obento Autumn

The "Obento Autumn" features maitake, bunashimeji, enokitake, shiitake, and sweet potato mushrooms, all the flavors of autumn, with a variety of textures, aromas, and looks to delight the senses. The main ingredient is fluffy, flavorful "mushroom rice," topped with carrots in the shape of autumn leaves and maitake mushrooms.

Other ingredients that are in season during the fall season include "qinggengcai and shirataki mushroom salad," "grilled salmon," "tsukune stew with lotus root," "shiitake mushroom stew," "carrot stew," "lotus root stew," "fried egg," "pickled radish with ginger flavor," "daikaimaimo" and two pieces of "traditional siu-mai" (sweet potato). The price is 760 yen.

Mushroom shiomai

Sakiyo-ken "Yokohama Gekimochi Yaki-imo", "Mushroom Shiomai", "Obento Autumn".

Mushroom shioumai" is made with large pieces of Japanese shiitake mushrooms, bunashimeji mushrooms, eringi mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, and hiratake mushrooms mixed with pork for a rich flavor. It is considered to be a unique autumn dish with a pleasing texture.

There are two types available: a room temperature type that can be eaten immediately and a refrigerated type suitable for souvenirs. The refrigerated type can be heated in a microwave oven without removing the bag to enjoy the freshly made taste. Both are priced at 670 yen for a set of six.
