Mai-izumi will introduce "Fried Oysters" as an annual limited time menu item, which will be available from September 1, 2022 to the end of March, 2023. The price is 200 yen per piece (tax included).

Mai-izumi Oyster Fries

Mai-izumi is known for its tonkatsu (pork cutlets) and katsu sandwiches, but the oyster fries have been a popular item with customers asking, "When are you going to release them this year? When will it go on sale this year? In addition to being available at directly managed stores nationwide, Mai-izumi restaurants also offer freshly fried oyster fries.

Oysters (oysters) from Ondo, Hiroshima Prefecture, are used. Oysters of a specified size are selected locally, coated with breadcrumbs, and deep fried at Mai-izumi. It is also enjoyed with an original tartar sauce. The mild taste of the egg is balanced by the acidity of the onions and pickles, enhancing the milky flavor of the fried oysters.

Prices are rounded up to include the 8% reduced tax rate. Prices may differ at stores that round down their prices. The product will be sold at all Mai-izumi directly-managed stores nationwide, and will not be sold at stores that do not carry fried foods.
