Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc Daifuku

The limited-time product that gained popularity in the fall of 2020 and 2021 has been renewed for an even better taste in 2022. It has evolved into Mont Blanc Daifuku with a more authentic taste of chestnuts by using completely unsweetened rice cakes. Daifuku is filled with sweet bean paste and whipped cream, and topped with a generous amount of paste made from 100% Japanese chestnuts and sweetened Japanese astringent chestnuts.

Daifuku with cream is made with sugar-free rice cake. The small amount of sugar used until last year has been eliminated this year. By reducing the sweetness of the mochi itself, the taste of the chestnuts is enhanced.

The whipped cream inside the Daifuku is made with Awa Wasanbon sugar. The rich, gentle and mildly sweet wasanbon sugar balances the delicious taste. The Mont Blanc cream has been renewed with a smoother texture so that the rich taste of Japanese chestnuts can spread in the mouth.
