Kyobashi Sembikiya has announced on its official website the appearance of an evening-only parfait, "Yamayouyouou". It will be available from 4:00 p.m. to one hour before closing time until September 30. The price is 2,970 yen (tax included), and a drink can be added for an additional 440 yen.

Yamayouou-ou

According to Kyobashi Sembikiya, the parfait is made to resemble a mountain in autumn, as the mountains become more colorful in autumn, which is called "Yamayououou" in haiku, a Japanese word to enjoy the changing of the four seasons.

The upper part of the parfait represents summer, with a refreshing lemon verbena-scented gin and tonic granite and fresh green marjoram. The bottom part represents autumn, with alternating layers of fruit reminiscent of a mountain range. The large cut is said to be the best way to enjoy the taste of autumn.

In addition to this, the white balsamic gelée of grapes is accented with the acidity and texture of cacao nibs, while white bean ice cream, spicy chai pudding, and rich caramel cream can also be enjoyed. An almond pie with caramel sauce sinking in is also included, and a symphony syrup inspired by an autumn sunset is used for the tip. The base is made with a white wine gelée that gives off an aromatic flavor.
