McDonald's will sell "Aburi Shoyu Style Triple Thick Beef," which consists of three thick 100% beef patties used in the "Samurai Mac," for a limited period of two weeks starting August 24 and only during dinner hours from 5 p.m. (except at some locations).

Samurai Mac was developed with the aim of creating a burger that "satisfies adults" and has been on sale since April 2021 as a new regular thick beef burger for the first time in three years. The burger is a confident product that offers the satisfying taste of a thick patty that lets you enjoy the deliciousness of beef, combined with the Japanese flavor of an aburi shoyu-style sauce. There are two versions available: "Aburi Shoyu Style Double Thick Beef" and "Aburi Shoyu Style Bacon Tomato Thick Beef". In the one year and three months since they became regular burgers, total sales of the two products have exceeded 100 million servings, and they are very popular as regular menu items.

Seared Soy Sauce Style Triple Thick Beef

The "Seared Soy Sauce Style Triple Thick Beef" is a product that pursues the delicious taste of Samurai Mac to make it even more satisfying as an evening meal. In response to the passionate demand for another serving of the hearty "Aburi Shoyu Style Triple Thick Beef," it will be available for a limited time only for the first time in approximately four months.


Three layers of 100% beef with no additives, grilled to perfection and topped with three slices of rich cheddar cheese, make this a dish that lets you savor the full flavor of the beef. Topped with crispy sliced onions, the sandwich is served on a savory toasted poppy seed bun. The sweetness of the onions and the richness of the garlic linger, and the savory, seared soy sauce enhances the umami of the meat, creating an addictive taste.

The in-store price is 640 yen for a single item and 940 yen for the value set (tax included), available from August 24 through September 6 from 5:00 p.m. until close (until 4:59 a.m. the following morning at stores open 24 hours a day).
