Yokohama Fire Department x Sakiyoken September 9 is First Aid Day: Yokohama Mooncake 3-pack

This is a collaboration project with the Yokohama Fire Department. According to Saki Yoken, the number of emergency calls has been increasing every year, especially in recent years due to the spread of the new coronavirus and heat stroke caused by the severe heat. This has increased the importance of proper use of ambulances and first aid.

September 9 is "First Aid Day" and the week including this day is designated as "Emergency Medical Treatment Week. This time, Sakiyoken has supported the Yokohama Fire Department's efforts to promote and educate the public about first-aid services, and has created a limited-quantity product.

The three types of small mooncakes are Sakiyoken's original mooncakes with a buttery crust and moist Japanese red bean paste. The packaging features "Hama-kun," the mascot character of the Yokohama City Fire Department, dressed as a paramedic to emphasize the importance of emergency medical services, and "Hyo-chan," the official character of Sakiyoken, as well as an ambulance. It also includes a guide for those who are lost in case of sudden illness or injury.

It is designed to encourage people to think about first aid as their own personal matter and to deepen their correct understanding and awareness of emergency medical care and emergency services. The shelf life of the product is 15 days from the date of manufacture.
