The "12 Stories of Shortcake" project was launched in January 2022 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the launch of Shortcake. Each month, a short story focusing on a different main character is published, describing a memory related to Shortcake. Special shortcakes inspired by those stories are available for a limited time starting on the 22nd of each month.


The protagonist of this month's story is ERIKO, a model and settled traveler. She has been living in local homes around the world and sharing her experiences of life there. Please enjoy the stories of Eriko and the world she has seen and felt in various countries.

The "12 Stories of Shortcake "Hello! New Colorful World"" is a shortcake that expresses the idea that "the world is not only what you can see. Colorful sponge cake flavored with matcha green tea, rummé, and orange, and strawberries are encased in a sauce, and the outside is finished with chanterelles cream and strawberries as decorations. It looks like a simple shortcake, but there are colorful ingredients hidden inside, offering a different flavor with each bite. Comes with a colorful paper plate with a flying airplane.
