Nakau will be selling "Ma-po Tofu Oyako-don" (fried chicken and egg on rice). It will go on sale at 11:00 a.m. on August 18. The price is 680 yen for a regular-sized bowl of mabo-tofu oyakodon, 750 yen for a large bowl of mabo-tofu oyakodon, and 540 yen for a regular-sized bowl of mabo-tofu donburi (all prices include tax).

Meabo Tofu Oyako Donburi

The "Meabo Tofu Oyako-don" is the fourth product in the "Creative Oyako-don" series, which offers a new way to enjoy Nakau's signature "oyako-don" (chicken and egg bowl). The specially prepared Bean Paste Bean Curd is made with six kinds of seasonings: bean paste, sweet soy sauce, bean paste, hot pepper paste, hot pepper oil, and Shaoxing wine. The spiciness of the sauce is both delicious and spicy. The spicy hot bean curd goes perfectly with the gentle flavor of oyakodon.

If you like, you can add a dash of "special Kyoto-style sansho" on the table for an even spicier and fresher sansho flavor. You can enjoy this dish as "oyako-don", "mabo-tofu-don", or "mabo-tofu oyako-don", making it a three-in-one delicious bowl. The "Meabo Tofu Donburi" will be sold at the same time.
