Including its predecessor Mont Blanc (released in 2005), Seasonal Soft Serve Ice Cream Mix Marron is now in its 18th year. 2012 marks the 11th year since it became marron, making it a long-running product. The launch date is September 5, 2012.

Seasonal Soft Serve Ice Cream Mix Marron is a soft serve ice cream mix made with chestnuts, one of the most popular autumn flavors, and flavored with rum to create a taste reminiscent of Western sweets. The amount of chestnuts has been increased from its predecessor, Soft Serve Ice Cream Mix Mont Blanc, to 2.2% chestnut powder (equivalent to 5.0% fresh chestnuts) to give the product a more chestnut flavor.
