Mitsukan will release a new flavor "Ajipon Umapiri" for the first time in 10 years. The release date is August 4. It will be sold in 360 ml quantities and priced at 285 yen (excluding tax).

Ajipon Umapiri

A new flavor is being added to the long-selling Ajipon brand for the first time in 10 years! Ajipon combines the flavors of two carefully selected chili peppers with citrus and soy sauce to bring out the moderate spiciness of red chili peppers and the addictive aroma of green chili peppers, giving it a new taste that is not only refreshing but also a little bit stimulating. It goes well with meat, and can be used not only for gyoza and shabu-shabu, but also for a variety of other dishes.

We were troubled and excited throughout the product development process to create a new flavor while retaining the atmosphere of our long-selling "Ajipon. We created this product with the aim of creating an addictive flavor with just the right amount of spiciness, and with the hope that more people will come to love the Ajipon series even more. The product was inspired by the yuzu pepper used as a condiment in Hakata mizutaki, which is the root of Ajipon, and the green chili pepper was used to express "umapiri," a refreshingly spicy taste that brings out the refreshing flavor of Ajipon. This product is especially good with meat dishes, but it can be used in a variety of dishes as well as ajipon.
