Tsukiji Gindako is introducing a new takoyaki called "Shio Lemon Oroshi" (salty lemon grated octopus). The takoyaki are flavored with sesame oil and served with ponzu (Japanese sauce with vinegar). The price is 700 yen for a boat of 8 takoyaki (tax included, for To go). Eat-in takoyaki is also available, but at a different price.

Aromatic sesame oil is applied to the hot takoyaki, which is then topped with shaved bonito flakes, two kinds of green onions (kujo-negi and shiro-negi), and savory roasted sesame seeds.

The special "salt lemon ponzu sauce" made with Okinawan salt and lemon peel and grated radish are also included in a special cup as an optional extra.
