Toraya "Nishiki Zongzi (brocade dumplings)" (made by Sotora with a tamaduki wrapper)

Toraya has announced on its official website that "Nishiki Zongzi" (Sotora-made Tama-dashiki) confections will be available from Toraya. It will be available in stores only on July 16, in time for the Gion Festival in Kyoto. The price is 1,782 yen (tax included) for a bundle of three.

This product will be sold only on July 16, the day of the Gion Festival, the most colorful summer festival in Kyoto, which is scheduled to be held for the first time in three years. The twisted red and white Uiro dough is wrapped in bamboo grass and wrapped with a red and white string.

It is a souvenir of the Gion Festival, and can be enjoyed while wishing for good luck and good fortune. Please note that they are only sold in bundles of three, and not sold individually.

It is sold at four locations: Kyoto Ichijo Store, Kyoto Takashimaya (Taka is a different letter), Daimaru Kyoto Store, and JR Kyoto Isetan.
