Takara Shochu Highball (with Yamaguchi summer oranges)

Takara Shochu Highball [Yamaguchi-produced summer oranges] is the newest addition to Takara's "Highball" canned chu-hi series from Takara Shuzo. It will be available in limited quantities on July 26. The estimated price is 143 yen for a 350ml (11.83us fl oz) can (excluding tax) and 194 yen for a 500ml (16.91us fl oz) can.

The series pursues the taste of shochu highballs, which were created in the late 1950s at a popular bar in downtown Tokyo, the origin of the word "chu-hi" (shochu highball). In addition, it has zero purine (less than 0.5 mg of purine per 100 ml) and zero sweetener.

The new product is a spirit (sparkling). The new product is also sugar-free (less than 0.5 mg of sugar per 100 ml) and is said to offer a refreshing aroma and sour taste. It contains 0.5% fruit juice.
