Meiji is introducing "Hi-Lemon Gummies," gummy candies with a clean lemon flavor and a gummy texture. It will be available nationwide from July 12. The product will be available nationwide from July 12 at an estimated price of 138 yen (tax included).

Hi-Lemon Gummi

A gummy candy based on Meiji's long-selling "Hi-Lemon" brand, which was introduced in 1980 and is known for its refreshing lemon flavor.

The refreshing lemon flavor is preserved, but the gummy texture is different from that of the tablets. The product is also marketed as an easy way to take in vitamin C while satisfying a small appetite or changing one's mood.

The domed shape and elastic texture of these tablets have earned them a rating of "Texture Chart 3. This chart is Meiji's proprietary index that evaluates chewiness so that it can be judged by an objective index, and divides it into six levels from 1 to 5+. By visualizing the chewiness, it is designed to help consumers find their preference not only in taste but also in hardness.
