Hon Takasagaya (Taka is a different character) has announced on its official website that it has launched the "Lion Painting Folding Screen Ecorse Gift" as a collaboration with the Tokyo National Museum. It is available at Mitsukoshi and Isetan stores and the official online store. It is not available at the Tokyo National Museum. The price is 3,240 yen (tax included).

Ecorse Gift of Lion Painting on folding screen

The design features the "Folding Screen of Lions" from the Tokyo National Museum. The can is decorated with a lion painted by Hokusai Katsushika, who is known for his prints. It is accompanied by a card that explains the work and describes the particulars of the confectionery.

The contents are an assortment of three types of "Ecorce" series baked sweets, which are representative of Hon Takasagaya. The set includes 20 black tea ecorse, which are thinly baked and covered in chocolate with Earl Grey tea leaves, 10 each of the mellow-scented matcha ecorse and roasted tea ecorse, whose aroma is said to be enjoyable.
